7 Hull Street By George Pesaturo

Since I left the north end in 1965

I can explain my Pesaturo family at 7 Hull St, this is the second building on the left w bay windows

My Grandmother and Grandfather purchased the building in 1923,

They had 4 children

Oldest boy was Augustine Pesaturo who

Lived on the first floor w wife Easter and son Gus,

My grandparents lived on the second floor Carmella and Antonio

Third floor was her youngest daughter Lillian Pascucci w husband Johnny and son Edward and daughter Floreen,

Forth floor was their oldest daughter Philoma w husband Vincent DiGangi they had 4 children

Richard Vincent Dennis and cherilyn the Fifth floor was my family George Sr, wife Marguerite, my Brother Anthony, sister Camille  and Myself George jr.

I had 3 aunts 3 uncles grandparents and parents,

We had our own team to play sports, go coasting in winter months at cops hill cemetery and also down on hull st.

The doors to all the apartments were always open for us to just drop in,

It was hard for me to resist getting by the second floor and my Grandmother since she always had the gravy on her stove and always stopped me to dip her warm bread into the gravy before I got up stairs I was always half full so had times when I wasn’t hungry and  my mother figured I was stoping on the second floor.

Each holiday all of us would get together in one of the apartments to spend holidays together, will never forget those happy times growing up at 7 Hull St and the Italian culture that was thought to us by our parents and grandparents!!

One other item Dom was the 1954 or 1955 Hurricane Diana

That knocked down the steeple on the old north church, the weather vane landed on our roof 2 weeks went by when the police and the vicar of the church actually found out my Dad had it hidden under a tarp on the roof for safe KEEPING ha ha

Thank you Dom for all you do along with Victor Sammy Sonny and many others we always have great times at our reunions both here and in Florida, I purchased a few of the do you believe in magic and gave them out to friends in Florida! Thank you for replying to my message.
